CUTE BUT NOT GREAT
This looks well made, has a nice weight, is totally cute... but doesn't sound that great. The cord isn't long enough, and i experienced a lot of crackling noises from the headphone jack if you touch it or move it (or move your body while talking- which is ALL the time.) the voice quality sounds like you are listening through a tin can. I would have expected the performance quality to be much better. :( cute though.
Well I hate to say I will be returning this headset, after waiting anxiously to receive it, I was extremely disappointed. As much as I love Hello Kitty I really wanted this headset to work but unfortunately the sound quality is so poor the static noise was unbearable. I tried stretching the cord a bit since it comes so coiled up but the sound was still distorted and breaking badly. This headset reminded me of talking on a cheap walkie talkie set, where you can only decipher a few words being said. Although the description says its compatible with most phones, I'm not so sure about BlackBerry's, I have a 9810 Torch just in case that helps anyone.
Just as the other reviewer said, I really wanted to like this headset, but unfortunately too much static and volume extremely low. I hope that the manufacturers will read the posts and try to improve it.
Defective, doesn't work!
I wanted this to relieve my hot ear and headaches from long phone conversations. I tried using this on multiple phones and locations. The other person said I sounded like I was 10 miles away. I heard my voice echoing plus a ton of static so this made it very difficult to hear the other person. I was so disappointed. I really wanted this to work for me but it's made so poorly. I don't know how any of the other retro phones work.
