They should have put a warning so I could have bought a larger size.
Vans always fit me in a 6, big manufacturing mistake.

The shoe is more of a mid top than high top. Also, The construction is very thin, not as padded as other high tops. Finally, the shoe is very tight! I had to re lace it so it didn't hurt my feet. I suggest getting 1 size bigger if you have wide feet and 1/2 size bigger with normal feet. Otherwise, I love the shoe!

I ordered this shoe a half size bigger as suggested by the other reviewer and the width is still a bit tight. Maybe they will stretch? Or perhaps wear them with no socks.
