I've used these plates (in another color... they're partially transparent) for my 1-2year-old for over a year and they are doing pretty good. Out of the four, only one has cracked in the dishwasher, but it's still useable except for soups/liquids. I only wash them on the top shelf, and another cup/plate may have been to blame for the crack.
Another comment: they ride the line between dishes and bowls, not deep enough for milk& cereal, but deeper than a normal plate. Not bad, just something to know.
All in all, very nice small dishes.
