The sandwich maker works pretty well and is really cute. I did get an imprint of Hello Kitty on my sandwich you just have to press down a bit and let it cook longer for it to show up. (like silly putty on a newspaper)
Yes the cheese oozed out even though I only used 2 slices but it does that in the cooking pan too so it's no big deal. I just wanted for the cheese to harden a bit (like 1 hr later) and it came up real easy with a butter knife. Then I used a little bit of soap and water to clean the rest and I was done.
The only thing that I didn't like was that it didn't come with instructions for cooking time suggests and proper care. Other than that it works great

I love this. It makes great little sandwiches so fun to eat. I just wish it was easier to clean. I made grilled cheese and some cheese oozed onto the side. It is hard to get out, but if you don't clean it, it will start to burn the next time you use it. Either way my kids love it. so extra cleaning is worth it.
