Part-time Sales Associates : South San Francisco, CA

Job Description/Duties

Sell goods, attend to customer needs, satisfaction and ensure maximum store productivity / profitability.

Comply with and administer all Sanrio policies and procedures under management direction including but not limited to:

  • Customer Service: Greet, monitor & interface with all customers
  • Ring up sales, bag items, process returns
  • Assemble Gift baskets
  • Merchandise Control/inventory/stock duties
  • Comply with all stores programs and procedures (i.e., Sales Goals, Programs, POS Procedures, etc.)
  • Comply with all company policies/procedures
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

High School diploma & prior retail sales/customer service, POS operations experience preferred. Mathematical proficiency, competency and accuracy with currency handling. Must possess excellent & concise verbal/written/interpersonal communication skills to effectively interface w/ customers and internal business partners. Sanrio brand awareness and character knowledge preferred.

Physical/Other Job Requirements

  • Punctual & excellent attendance, flexibility to work extra hours if needed (& occasional weekends for special store promotions).
  • Able to stand on feet for long periods of time
  • Daily bending/lifting to retrieve under/over stock
  • Use of ladder to arrange/re-arrange merchandise displays
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
