Sanrio Announces Plans for Hello Kitty's Birthday Month

On November 1st, Hello Kitty, the beloved pop icon who inspires happiness around the world, is celebrating her birthday! In true Hello Kitty style, she celebrates by sharing Sanrio's 'small gift, big smile' philosophy with special product launches and promotions. Starting on November 1st and extending throughout the holiday season, these unique collaborations will delight Hello Kitty fans of all ages.

Barbie Hello Kitty: Barbie® will once again pay homage to the global pop icon with a playful, supercute and fashion-forward Barbie Hello Kitty to launch on November 1st, Hello Kitty's actual birthday! The look of the doll is inspired by Hello Kitty's signature red bow -- from the tiny bow buttons on her sweater to the embroidered bow details on her skirt, the essences of both beloved icons are included in this collectible doll. Her chic look is accessorized with a Hello Kitty handbag and figurine. The limited edition doll will include a doll stand and certificate of authenticity, designating her status as a Gold Label Barbie Signature Doll. The Barbie Hello Kitty will retail for $100 and will be available for pre-order on November 1st at Barbie.com and select retailers nationwide and available for purchase in mid-November at Sanrio.com and select Sanrio stores.

Hello Kitty x Freshly Picked: The boutique baby moccasin brand that made its initialappearance on Shark Tank, collaborates with Sanrio for the first time on an adorable collection of Hello Kitty moccasins for infants & toddlers. The handmade leather moccasin will be available in six styles - a mix of prints & colors in traditional moccasin, 'City Mocc' and Mary Jane styles. All styles retail for $60. Hello Kitty x Freshly Picked will be available starting November 1st on freshlypicked.com; and available mid-November at select Sanrio stores, select boutiques around the country, as well as at sanrio.com.

Sanrio x Rastaclat: Rastaclat partners with Sanrio to create a unique capsule collection inspired by Hello Kitty, Keroppi and Badtz-Maru as a symbol of positivity, to encourage friendship between people across the world. In addition to select Sanrio stores and specialty retailers, the collection will be available at rastaclat.com and sanrio.com starting November 15th.

Hello Kitty Snapchat Lenses: Starting November 1st, on Hello Kitty's birthday, through November 5th, Snapchat will launch a series of custom Hello Kitty lenses. A new lens will debut each day - perfect for snapping & sharing!

Hello Kitty Wine: The highly sought after collection of Hello Kitty wines, produced by Torti "L'Eleganza del Vino" Wines, returns to the U.S. with its popular varietals, as well as two new blends and adorable new packaging just in time for Hello Kitty's birthday celebration for the 21+ crowd.
