Sanrio x 64 Colors Collection Debuts at BoxLunch

Sanrio, the global lifestyle brand best known for beloved Hello Kitty pop icon, has partnered with philanthropic pop-culture gift store BoxLunch to debut a playful offering of apparel, accessories and home goods featuring retro-inspired designs from artist duo 64 Colors.

64 Colors mixes the texture of screen-printing with the smoothness of flat blocks of color to achieve an aesthetic that is all their own, and a perfect complement to the unique graphic style of beloved Sanrio characters Hello Kitty®, Deery-Lou®, My Melody®, Kuromi® and Chococat®. Sanrio and 64 Colors first collaborated at ‘Three Apples', the exhibition in Los Angeles, CA, celebrating Hello Kitty's 35th Anniversary ; this is the first time Sanrio & 64 Colors have developed a collection that will be available to fans of both brands.

Highlights from the Sanrio x 64 Colors women's apparel and accessories assortment include super-soft graphic tees with front and back character detailing, delicate jewelry, and a mini backpack and matching wallet featuring an apple & milk bottle all-over print, from accessories manufacturer, Loungely. The unique and adorable collaboration also includes an assortment of home goods including drinkware, a kawaii vanilla-scented ‘Super Hero Hello Kitty' air freshener, character sticky tabs and milk box notepad, all featuring the artwork of 64 Colors. The Sanrio x 64 Colors collection retails from $7 to $60 USD.

To celebrate the launch, BoxLunch and Sanrio will team up for a fun- filled afternoon at the BoxLunch Irvine Spectrum store in Irvine, CA, on Saturday, July 7 from 12 to 3 PM. Activities include a first look at the collection, limited edition mini posters to the first 100 customers, treats from the Hello Kitty Cafe, and appearance and photo ops with Hello Kitty herself.

The Sanrio x 64 Colors collection launches July 2nd at all BoxLunch stores and boxlunch.com.
