Graduation season is just around the corner! If you are a Hello Kitty fan and graduating, then you'll love this easy DIY project. You'll definitely stand out in a sea of graduates wearing this whimsical graduation cap. Grab your scissors and glue gun and let's get started!
Supplies:
-A plain graduation cap
-White, red, black and yellow felt
-Scissors
-Glue gun
-Marker
-Hello Kitty Template
Instructions:
1. Print out desired Hello Kitty template. Place the template on the black and white felt then trace with a marker. Use your scissors to cut them out.
2. Cut out Hello Kitty's
face features out of felt, set aside. Cut letters for "Hello
Graduation" out of red felt, set aside.
3. Arrange the felt letters on the graduation cap then secure with hot glue. Glue all of Hello Kitty's face felt pieces & details with hot glue.
4. Place the Hello Kitty face piece in the center of the graduation cap. Cut a small hole in the center of Hello Kitty's face- just enough to fit over the cap button. Secure with hot glue. Allow glue to cool completely before wearing.
